What’s the difference between each type of Massage?

Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic massage (also known as Swedish Massage) is often recommended as part of a regular stress management program.  It can reduce both physical and emotional stress while stretching the ligaments and tendons, keeping them supple and young.

Pregnancy Massage

As many women know, pregnancy places strong demands on the body and needs to be nurtured and pampered. This massage not only relieves the tensions and aches caused by the extra weight and change in the center of gravity to the body, but it reduces swelling, soothes the nervous system, reduces fatigue, and enhances energy.

Sports Massage

Sports massage reduces muscle soreness and recovery time, which leads to better performance.  It can help athletes recover from injuries as well being part of a preventative treatment plan.   It is often used before, during, and/or after athletic events to prepare the athlete for peak performance, drain away fatigue, relieve swelling, reduce muscle tension, and promote flexibility.

Remedial Massage

Remedial massage addresses specific muscles and muscle groups and offers fast results for both pain and stress. This technique begins gently and progresses deeply as the outer muscle fibers relax, allowing the second and third layer of muscle to be addressed.  It includes strengthening and stretching techniques which are used to assist with recovery from various injuries.

Wedding Day Massage Service

Take some time to deeply relax and prepare for your wedding day.  A massage can be arranged for the bride and/or groom on your special day or the day before to ensure a good night’s sleep.

Alternatively the bridal party may enjoy a relaxing massage on the day or you may wish to give them Vouchers as a “Thank You” gift.
